File Property Edit Pro specializes in batch editing the properties of files – or to put it in other words, it will batch process files, changing their properties based on the settings you specify. It is all done quite rapidly, in three easy steps.

The File Property Edit Pro installation file is close to 2MB in size, which is not much; the download will complete in little time. Run this file and it will take little time as well to go through the steps presented to you by a setup wizard. You can install the application on 32 as well as 64-bit Windows editions, anything from XP up to 8.

The application’s interface clearly presents the three steps you must take to use the application. At the top, you have a list of all the files loaded into the application. In the middle you have all the editing options you could choose to change your files. And down at the bottom, you have a section that presents the results of batch changing file properties.

As mentioned twice already, using File Property Edit Pro is a simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – load the files you want into the application. You can do this by dragging and dropping them onto the application or by using the Add Files and Add Folder buttons.
Step 2: select a template that will be used to change the properties of the loaded files. The templates are grouped into 5 categories: File date time, File attributes, Document summary, Picture properties (EXIF) and MP3 ID3 tags.
Step 3 – start changing the loaded files by pressing the Apply Changes button in the bottom left hand corner.
